Literally. The One That Got Away. I remember when I first saw the OPI Katy Perry collection last year I was like "meh." This summer while I was at my local Cosmoprof I saw Not Like The Movies was in the clearance section for something like $4.50 so I grabbed it and I loved it when I put it on. The rest of the polishes in the collection didn't do much for me when I saw the swatches. So the other day I was at my ex-roommate's new apartment and I noticed her (small and relatively boring) nail polish collection, and there was one shade that was standing out: The One That Got Away. I borrowed it from her and I have had it on since last Saturday until a few hours ago. That is almost a week, people! I haven't had a nail polish on this long for months, that is how gorgeous this colour is. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
The One That Got Away is a raspberry glass fleck that is packed with sparkle and glitter and pink and purple personality. I used three coats on my left hand and two coats on my right hand, although both were opaque the extra coat added a deeper raspberry feel and made the glassyness and fleckyness a little more intense. I felt like a magenta universe was frozen in time on my nails. This colour is so beautiful and so unique, I can't believe it got away before I could buy a bottle. I guess my ex roommate can expect me dropping by her new place a little more often from now on. Enjoy some more pictures, I couldn't help taking so many. Thank you for reading!
